Many lecturers and key-note speakers contribute...

The 3rd International Conference on Bowen's Theory is Open to Everyone. Knowledge of the theory is not required. The offering will give beginners as well as already knowledgeable interesting lectures. The conference has attracted lecturers from all over the world and from many different disciplines. It is a great pleasure to be able to offer such an extensive program. Until the June 2020 conference, we will continuously present the various lecturers.

Bonding Human Design: Understanding of Togetherness from a Naturalistic Integrative Approach.

Professor in the Universidad Mayor, and Director of the Postgraduate Program “Psychosocial and Multigenerational Therapy” in Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile. Alicia has a degree in Psychology and a Master in Family Therapy (Academia di Psicoterapia della Famiglina, Roma, Italia). She holds a Master in Child Mental Health (Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile) and Postrgraduate in Social Neuroscience (Universidad Diego Portales, Chile).

"This presentation shows us of the efforts of a Chilean therapist to understand the nature of human relational design. Just as the journey made by Darwin through the Patagonia and Chilean coast, the speaker describes the professional, personal and theoretical travel developed to understand the depth of the tendency of human beings to engage and maintain in emotional connection with others such as Bowen points out."

Family and Differentiation of Self: An Evolutionary Perspective.

Ph.D at Jane Adams College of Social Work, University of Illinois at Chicago. Dissertation, "Family Adaptability and Cohesion in Relation to the Severity of Drug Abuse". Author of many articles and books. Has taught in the field of family therapy, today at the Faculty, Bowen Center for the Study of the Family, Washington, D.C and at the Faculty, Center for Family Consultation, Evanston, IL. Conducted private practice for several decades.

"The central concept in Bowen theory of differentiation of self will be presented from an evolutionary context. This will be principally discussed in terms of the co-evolution of the family and the brain which underlies the development of the intellectual system defined in the theory."
